I went into teaching to make a difference. I spent 9 years in a high school classroom convincing teenagers not only of the enduring power of Shakespeare's works, but also of the power of their own voices.

Then life happened. It became clear I needed to focus more on my own family for a season, and I resigned from teaching. But the power of words still called to me. Enter the Comprehensive Copywriting Academy and copywriting coach Nicki Krawczyk. Suddenly I once again had a way to make a difference in the world outside my home. I also had a way to do something I'd never dreamed was possible: make a living as a writer.
